How to be a better fish photographer and help the fish via your GoPro!

February 23, 2019

I’m always concerned about the stress on the fish that taking photos can have. Sometimes the fish is out of the water too long, sometimes we hold the fish too firmly and this can injure the fish’s internal organs, especially when they squirm. The whole culture around fish photos can be detrimental to the fish we love to catch also. Have a read through this Blog Post which covered that issue. There are many ways to minimize the impacts on the fish.

This video, from TightLineVideo offers some great solutions for taking bursts of still photos with a GoPro. There’s some super ideas about how to wear or attach the GoPro in really innovative ways as well. Have a look!
